About Our Barn and Staff

Our Home Away From Home

WoodWind operates as a full service training facility and lesson program between two barns. Catering to all ages and skill sets, we are able to teach year round in our comfortable indoor facilities. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just looking to try it out for the first time, we are eager to earn your business and introduce you to the incredible world of horses.

Training here at Woodwind is done by Bonnie and Megan Kittredge. Our philosophy on safety follows all the way up to our top-level show horses and we strive to achieve excellence through a variety of techniques and practices. Bonnie Kittredge and her daughter Megan have over 100 years of combined experience in the American Saddlebred industry.

Bonnie Kittredge- Owner/Trainer

Bonnie is our owner and trainer here at Woodwind Farm. She began riding at just 18 months old and has made a name for herself in the saddleseat industry ever since. She has turned out many excellent horses through the years including: WHF Supreme Fortune, Scarlet Supreme, Miss Sierra Sious, Good Spirits (Hackney pony), Hasta La Vista, The Prairie Star, Epiconyare, and Highly Caffeinated, among others. Bonnie is an inspiration and motivator to all of her riders and wants nothing but the best for them.

Megan Kittredge- Owner/Trainer

Megan, daughter of Bonnie, has grown up living and breathing horses. Starting to ride before she could even walk, Megan has used her years of experience to train many horses and instruct riders. She continues to help both people and horses alike to reach their full potentials.

Alex Fischer-McMenamy- Trainer/Head Riding Instructor

Alex is our trainer and head riding instructor here at Woodwind Farm. She began riding with us since the day she was born but began taking serious lessons at the age of 3. Whether breaking colts or attending horse shows, she continues to show youthful enthusiasm at Woodwind Farm. She has also established her team of academy riders who have been representing Woodwind Farm throughout the Midwest circuit.
